In most instances, we offer a fixed fees basis for working on your matter. This means we agree the work we will do at the outset of your matter and quote you for that work. However, this does not include Home Office Fees, Immigration Health Surcharge or other disbursements, VAT etc.

In certain specific cases and circumstances, some work may be chargeable at an Hourly Rate.

These are charges which are incurred on your behalf during the course of your matter such as:

• Expert and Medical Experts Reports – we do not offer these services and you should assess the affordability of these services.
• Interpreter/translation fees - we do not offer these services and you should assess the affordability of these services.
• Court Fees – Currently, the court fee to lodge a notice of appeal is £140.00.
• Counsel fee – Counsel’s Fee will vary depending on your individual matter, complexity of the work and number of hearings they attend etc. The fee for counsel varied widely depending upon the qualifications and experience of each individual counsel.
• Postage – we do not make charge for Royal Mail delivery within the UK.
VAT is a UK Government tax which is presently charged at 20% over the prices listed above. VAT usually applies to those who have had some form of leave to remain in the UK. Generally, we aim to complete and finalise your application between 1-2 weeks after our first meeting after receiving your documents/evidence. After submitting your application, we have to wait for the Home Office to make their decision. The Home Office does publish guidance relating to processing time for various applications:

In the initial appointment we will look over your immigration history and current immigration status. We will also see your documents you bring to our offices. We will advise you on the relevant law and procures. We will advise you on the merits of your case and advice you about the agreed fee and the timescale and disbursements.
If you decide to instruct us, we will write to you a detailed letter outlining what you have told us in our initial meeting. This letter also includes the advice we have given you and the timescale to complete your case, the fees that we have agreed.
Before submitting your application, we will review your documents and evidence you have given to us in the initial meeting. We will advise you if we require any further documents/evidence from you.
Once we are satisfied that all the requirements to make your application have been satisfied, we will draft the application. You are required to attend our offices to go through your draft application with us and if you are happy that everything is OK, we will ask you to pay your Home Office fee by using your bank card and we will submit your application to the Home Office. We will arrange an appointment with UKVCAS for you to enrol Biometric information.
If your application has been successful, the Home Office will return to us any original document which we have submitted in support of your application. The Home Office will provide a biometric card.
If your application is refused by the Home Office, we will discuss the reasons of refusal with you. However, you may be given the right to appeal, it all depends on the Home Office decision. Accordingly, we will advise you on the receipt of the Home Office decision. Once we have completed your case, we will advise you our file closing procedure and we will send you the file closing letter
